Terrorists, said to belong to the Islamic State of West Africa Province have released a fresh video in which they were seen flogging the male passengers abducted in the Match 28, 2022 Abuja-Kaduna train attack.

The video, which went viral on Sunday morning, showed the terrorists descending heavily on their male victims.

The latest video is coming days after the terrorists vowed to kill the abducted passengers if the Federal Government does not meet their demands.

Though the demands were not stated, the trend had been releasing the victims on payment of ransom.

For instance, the Managing Director of the Bank of the Agriculture, Alwan Hassan, was released after he reportedly paid N100 million ransom on April 7.

On July 9, seven of the victims were also released after reportedly paying N800 million ransom.

The terrorists are said to be demanding for N100 million for the remaining 43 victims.

However, following the failure to meet their demand, the terrorists went wild in the latest video, beating their victims mercilessly.

One of the victims who spoke in the 170 second video, an unidentified male, said the terrorists don’t plan to keep them hostage for more than a week but for the attitude of the Federal Government towards their demands.

He pleaded with the international community and United Nations to come to their aid as the Federal Government had failed to act.

One of the terrorists then warned that they would be going after prominent Nigerians, including President Muhammadu Buhari and Governor Nasir el-Rufai of Kaduna State.

He also threatened that they would kill some of the abductees and sell others off like they did with the Chibok schoolgirls.

He said: “This is our message to the government of Nigeria and just as you have seen these people here, by God’s grace, you will see your leaders, your senators and governors will come before us.

“These ones you are seeing here, we will keep some as our slaves and sell them off just as our Imam told you in the past.

“Just like the Chibok girls that were sold off, we will equally sell these ones as slaves.

“If you don’t adhere to our demands, we will kill the ones we need to kill and sell the remaining.

“By God’s grace, El-Rufai, Buhari, we will bring you here.”
