Besides, the cleric regretted that efforts by some few courageous Nigerians to help in the fight against corruption in the country were not being encouraged as anti-grafts bodies’ activities showed to be slow and selective.
Those installed by the Church’s Patriarch, Archbishop Christopher Lwanga Tusubira from Uganda, were Most Rev. Akinbode Oke, who became the Primate and Archbishop of West Africa, and Rt. Rev. Seun Adeoye as Lead Bishop, West Africa of WAC.
According to a statement signed on Thursday by Bishop Adeoye and made available to reporters, the announcement for the appointments was made in Uganda by the Presiding Patriarch of WAC, Archbishop Lwanga C. Tusubira, in a message to all members of the Church across the world.
