The Kwara State Government said on Thursday that it would begin the groundwork for the 2019 fiscal budget in September.

The Kwara State Commissioner for Planning and Economic Development, Alhaji Wasiu Odewale, said on Friday that the state government had implemented 45 percent of its fiscal budget for 2018 by the end of the second quarter.

The State Governor, Alhaji Abdulfatah Ahmed, disclosed this on Thursday in Ilorin at the project launch and cheque presentation of N92 million to another 16 beneficiary communities of the programme.
