Elumelu, who was guest speaker at the occasion, spoke on the conference theme: “The Effects of Multiple Government Regulations and Taxation on Business Growth in Nigeria.”
Elumelu said this at the Lagos Business School Alumni Association “2017 Alumni Day” in Lagos, with the theme: “The Effects of Multiple Government Regulations and Taxation on Business Growth in Nigeria.”
It has been designed to connect some of Africa’s most promising entrepreneurs and also give them exposure to investors, incubators and accelerators as well as to partake in workshops that will give them the skills and tools to scale up their businesses.
Elumelu, a former Chief Executive of the United Bank for Africa, said this while speaking with State House Correspondents after a visit to the Presidential villa.

Elumelu made the donation to Sierra Leonean President, Ernest Bai Koroma, on Wednesday during a visit to the country.
Elumelu said this while speaking on the theme: “How do we create 10 million jobs by 2020?” at the Youth Connekt Africa Summit in Rwanda on Saturday.
He urged the government to re-orientate the minds of the executives that implement policies of government to see themselves as business enablers and realise the urgency of the moment.
