The senator who represented Abia Central Senatorial District, made the comments in her congratulatory message to Nigerians on the celebration of Nigeria’s 61st independence anniversary.
In a press release in Abuja, Senator Nwaogu said that Mrs Aguiyi-Ironsi played an important role towards her success story.
Acknowledging the contributions of the Abia-state born politician to nation building in various capacities, the former Governor stressed that the celebrant remains a source of inspiration to the womenfolk beyond Abia state.
