The News Agency of Nigeria reports that the Supreme Court had dismissed Wike’s suit challenging the jurisdiction of the tribunal to hear the petition of the APC’s governorship candidate in the April 11 poll, Dakuku Peterside.

The latest being the Nollywood scripted declaration by the embattled Rivers State All Progressives Congress Chairman, David Ikanya, who claimed that the governorship election was rigged by the Peoples Democratic Party in connivance with the Independent National Electoral Commission and the police. We sympathise with Mr. Ikanya as he is desperately struggling to find relevance in the APC after his last minute efforts to defect to PDP were thwarted by party officials who questioned his motive under the circumstances
