On November 5 Buhari received the report of a tripartite committee he set up since last November, to fashion out a new minimum wage for workers.

Joe Ajaero, President, United Labour Congress, says the organised labour expects the National Assembly to fast-track action on the minimum wage report once presented because of its urgency.
The Organised Labour says it will meet on Thursday to take final decision on the new National Minimum Wage for workers, following the delay by the Federal Government to announce its figure.
