Olusegun Runsewe, Director-General, NCAC, disclosed this at a meeting with the Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
Sanwo-Olu gave the assurance on Thursday when he received a delegation from the National Council for Arts and Culture.
The Council’s meeting, which will also feature exhibitions of indigenous products and other resources of Ekiti State is scheduled for Ado-Ekiti between 22nd to 26th November 2021.
Declaring open the cultural fiesta themed: “Celebrating National Unity in Diversity”, Ekiti State Governor and Chairman, Nigeria Governors’ Forum (NGF), Dr Kayode Fayemi, described the annual cultural celebration as a vital tool for integration, unity, economic prosperity and political stability of the country.
Fayemi gave the assurance during the command parade heralding the NAFEST 2021 at the Ekiti state Civic and Convention Centre, Ado-Ekiti.
The partnership, according to the state would ensure a successful outing of the 34th edition of NAFEST.
The News Agency of Nigeria reports that the competitive events were on traditional cuisines, arts and crafts, essay writing, quiz, traditional board game, indigenous fabrics and fashion parade, indigenous music, archery and coral competitions.
Runsewe gave the advice at tee off of special kitty organised as part of the ongoing 2020 edition of the National Festival for Arts and Culture (NAFEST) on Saturday in Jos.
