In the 61 seconds video shot at a London night club last week and a copy seen by our reporter, Adebutu in white native dress is seen seated at the background while his running mate in the last governorship election, Abdulkabir Adekunle Akinlade, is seen in white shirt  dancing on the floor with some ladies and  PDP members among who are former General Manager, Ogun Parks and Garage Management Board, Prince Sesan Asenuga and the Member-Elect for Sagamu Constituency 1 (Ofin), Ogun State Assembly, Oluwadare Bello. They were chorusing “PDP family”, dancing to the music of Fuji music crooner, Adewale Ayuba.

A civil society organization, Committee for the Protection of Peoples Mandate (CPPM) has called for an international warrant of arrest on Ladi Adebutu, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate in the March 18th, 2023 gubernatorial election in Ogun State for alleged violation of Nigeria’s Electoral Act and for ignoring police invitation.

Adebutu, who has been on suspension since October 25, 2022, was finally expelled along with four others – Taiwo Akinlabi, Sunday Solarin, Kayode Adebayo and Akinloye Bankole, after the relevant Working Committee of the party, reviewed the report of a five-man disciplinary panel set up to look into the allegations of anti-party, indiscipline, division and acts capable of bringing the party into disrepute.
