A 24-year-old domestic servant, Amarachi Onyemaizu, who allegedly stole property worth N9.9 million from her employer, was on Friday arraigned before an Ebute Metta Chief Magistrates’ Court, Lagos.

The accused, who resides at 17, Fatiregun Street, Ilaye in Ebute Meta, is charged with attempted murder, to which she pleaded not guilty
The accused is facing a three-count charge of conspiracy, attempted murder and belonging to a cult
The prosecutor, Kehinde Omisakin, told the court that the accused committed the offence on August 16 at 5pm in Mushin, Lagos.
The Magistrate, Tajudeen Elias, ordered that the accused should be kept in police custody pending her bail application.
The accused, who was arraigned on a charge of attempting to commit suicide, pleaded not guilty
