The International Vocational, Technical and Entrepreneurship College, Ajase-Ipo, has matriculated no fewer than 199 students for the special certificate programme in the first circle of the 2018/2019 academic session.

Kwara State and the International Vocational, Technical and Entrepreneurship College on Thursday signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the National Directorate of Employment and the World Bank on the training of 250 students for first-level skills.
The proposed partnership with the state government was disclosed on Monday by the World Bank Senior Education Specialist, Dr. Tunde Adekola, during the institution’s facility tour of the International Vocational, Technical and Entrepreneurship College in Ajase-Ipo.
Speaking with newsmen at the College on Wednesday, the acting rector, Dr Ade Somide, disclosed that the training is an empowerment programme by the Kwara State Government in partnership with the contractor handling the Light up Kwara project, Riccofortezza-Asteven Energy Limited.
