Governor Babagana Zulum spoke on Friday at the flag-off of distribution of inputs to prospective farmers resettled by his administration.

The News Agency of Nigeria reports that a cheque of N10b was presented to the Chairman of Borno Flood Disaster Relief Disbursement Committee, while another cheque of N10b was given to the Commissioner of Works for rehabilitation of public structures.
He stated this in an address at the 10th Edition of the North-East Governors’ Forum meeting on Friday in Bauchi.
He stated this during a courtesy visit by members of the House of Representatives Committee on Army, on Wednesday in Maiduguri.
Zulum gave the directive on Monday in Maiduguri at the swearing-in ceremony of the 27 elected council chairmen.
In his message, he said the state has lost a thorough professional committed to projecting the image of the state.
Zulum stated this during the presentation of the 2024 Budget to the state House of Assembly.
Zulum, a Professor, also directed the State Ministry of Finance to implement outstanding promotion benefits to workers.
This was revealed in a statement on Saturday by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Media and Strategy, Isa Gusau.
The Executive Secretary of the agency, Saleh Abba-Kaza, made this known while briefing newsmen Monday in Maiduguri.
The Governor, according to a statement, also approved the reappointment of Prof. Isa Marte as his Chief of Staff.
The governor indicated Monday that an Executive Order will be issued to that effect.
The NNPP is challenging the reelection of Governor Babagana Zulum, who flew the flag of the All Progressives Congress.
Zulum, who made the donation during a working visit to the town, said it would enhance security around the community.
The News Agency of Nigeria reports that the affected fishermen from Dikwa LGA had gone fishing in the village, but were ambushed and killed by terrorists.

On Arrival in Yobe and Borno States Monday, Prof. Osinbajo was warmly received by Governors Mai Mala Buni and Babagana Zulum respectively, alongside other state government officials.
Zulum stated this while receiving a cheque of N50m donated to him by a total of 150 clubs and associations to purchase the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) expression of interest and nomination forms, in Maiduguri, the State’s capital Wednesday.
