The News Agency of Nigeria reports that the Europa League champions will go play against Nigeria’s Super Eagles in the maiden GOtv MAX Cup on Tuesday evening at the Nest of Champions Stadium in Uyo, Akwa Ibom.
The friendly match, tagged: “GOtv MAX Cup’’, sponsored by Multichoice Nigeria, will be played at the Nest of Champions Stadium, Uyo on Tuesday evening.
Torres, who scored both Atletico goals on Sunday in the 2-2 draw with Eibar in their last LaLiga match of the season, is a club legend, having been named captain of the LaLiga giants at the age of 17, the youngest ever.
Expectedly the announcement of Atletico Madrid’s visit, which is happening on the invitation of MultiChoice, sparked huge excitement among football fans across the country, especially in Uyo, the host city.
