Aiboni who was represented by SNEPCo Finance Manager, Tunde Oduwole, said while Africa’s oil and gas sector promised opportunities for FDI, such capital would “preferentially go to countries with more stable macro-economic policy environment, low or moderate inflation, stable interest rates, stable or predictable exchange rates, easy access to foreign exchange and minimal capital controls.”

Elohor and the General Manager of Shell’s Safety and Environment in Nigeria, Elozino Olaniyan, were both conferred with the fellowship of the Nigeria Society of Engineers (NSE) at an investiture ceremony in Abuja recently.
The Managing Director of Shell’s deep-water business, Shell Nigeria Exploration and Production Company, Elohor Aiboni, was also named the sole recipient of the PETAN Chairman Outstanding Achievement Award. While her successor in office, Mr. Bayo Ojulari, clinched the PETAN Distinguished Achievement Award.

Managing Director of the deep-water business of Shell in Nigeria, Mrs. Elohor Aiboni, said Shell Nigeria Exploration and Production Company (SNEPCo) would continue to explore opportunities for collaboration with public and private sector stakeholders to enhance in-country capabilities in research and development.
Elohor is the first female to lead a Shell exploration company in the over 60 years of Shell’s operations in Nigeria.
