The public relations officer of state command of the Nigeria Police, DSP Abimbola Oyeyemi, said in a statement that the suspect, who resides at Mokore road area of Warewa, was arrested on the 29th of March 2021 following the report lodged by the mother of the victim.

In a statement on Friday by the Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Abimbola Oyeyemi, the command listed new tactics used by criminals to perpetrate their evil acts.
The suspect was arrested following a distress call from Itamerin Comprehensive High School, Ago-Iwoye, that the suspect came to the school premises and started shooting sporadically simply because his younger brother who is a student of the school, was beaten.
The victims, identified as Adeyemo Precious and Oyefule Abiola, are students at the departments of Forestry and Wildlife Management and Agricultural Economics respectively.
It was learnt that on November 4, policemen attached to the command arrested one Michael Hammed Azeez, 20, and Adeola Ogunseye, 22, following a complaint lodged at Owode Egba divisional headquarters by the mother of the victim who reported that her daughter was abducted by the two suspects on November 3 at about 8:30 pm and taken to an unknown place where the duo took turns to forcefully had carnal knowledge of her.
