The Independent National Electoral Commission had on Thursday issued Ogah a Certificate of Return, thus withdrawing the one that was earlier issued to Governor Okezie Ikpeazu and paved the way for the swearing-in of Ogah
Onuigbo said such an invasion would trigger off anarchy, adding that the party was poised for a showdown over the planned inauguration.

“It is ordered that an order of injunction is hereby made restraining the 2nd defendant (INEC) from issuing a certificate of return to the 1st defendant (Ogah) while the claimant (Ikpeazu) remains in office in accordance with section 143 (1) & (2) of the Electoral Act 2010 (as amended) and pending the determination of the motion on notice
The Certificate of Return was issued to Ogah on Thursday despite the appeal filed by the incumbent, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu
