In a piece titled: “D-General, NDLEA and Perceptual Distortion,” by Mahmud Isa, the piece recalled that a group of people rushed to social media to make “rude, reproachful, and caustic posts blaming the NDLEA for everything”.

This was revealed in a statement by the Director, Media and Advocacy of the NDLEA, Femi Babafemi, on Wednesday.

While D-General was seen talking calmly with supposed leader of the team about access to his apartment in the first slide of the videos obtained, the second and third slides captured a heated exchange about the operatives being filmed.
