The police charged Sunday , who resides at Magbon in Badagry, Lagos State, is being tried for defilement.

The Magistrate, Ejiro Kubeinje, who did not take the juvenile’s plea, ordered that the case file be sent to the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) for advice.

The police charged Peter, whose residential address was not given with four counts of conspiracy, breaking in, damage and attempted to commit felony.

The police charged Emmanuel Abayomi, 49, and Atinuke Abayomi, 37, who reside in Alagbado, Lagos, with conspiracy, obtaining money under false pretences and theft.

The defendant was arraigned on a three-count charge of conspiracy, obtaining goods under false pretences and stealing.

The defendant fraudulently obtained the money from Okonkwo with the pretext of returning it after a few weeks; a representation he knew to be false.

Emmanuel, who resides at Iju, Lagos, is facing a charge of stealing.

The defendant, whose residential address is unknown, however, pleaded innocence to a count of stealing.

Akinwande is under trial for obtaining money under false pretences and stealing.

However, the court did not take the plea of the defendant following the motion by the prosecutor, ASP Bisi Ogunleye, that the matter should be referred to the Director of Public Prosecutions for advice.

The defendants, Daniel Odey, 25; Akor John, 21; Chimeh Ifoma, 20 and Chima Okpara, 34, however, pleaded not guilty to the charges of conspiracy, breaking in and stealing preferred against them.

Nwafor, whose residential address was not given, is standing trial on a count of  unlawful possession of firearm.

The magistrate,  Ejiro Kubeinje, who did not take the defendant’s plea, directed the prosecutor to duplicate the file and send it to the Lagos State Director of Public Prosecutions for advice.

The police arraigned Suleiman Ojikutu, 19; Oriyomi Iseyemi, 18; Paul Perese, 21, and Wasiu Shola, 18 on a three-count charge of conspiracy, unlawful assembly and unlawful possession of firearms.

Iheanachor, whose residential address was not given, is facing three counts of conspiracy, threat to life and obtaining money under false pretences.
