A socio-political group, Ajoro Ekiti, has called for an independent audit of the financial books of Ekiti State in the last 10 years, describing it as a “logical and sensible” way of unraveling the true financial position of the state.
The group, Coalition in Defence of Nigerian Democracy and Constitution, also described the certificate bearing the Grand Commander of the Federal Republic honour conferred on Abiola as “deceptive” and an improper way of honouring the dead
In a statement on Sunday, Atoye said the protest will go on nationwide as planned
