The President of the Council, AIG (Dr.) Aishatu Baju who made this known over the weekend in Lagos explained that this would be achieved by completely restricting the use of antibiotics for growth promotion and disease prevention.

The AMR is regarded as the ability of Pathogenic Microorganism to resist the effect of anti-microbial agents when used to treat internal or external infection.
