In a startling revelation, Nollywood actress, Adunni-Ade has revealed that she finds speaking Yoruba language draining, adding that it sometimes hurts her nerves.
Adunni-Ade disclosed this when she featured as a guest in a recent episode of Morning Brief on Channels Television.
Born to a German-American mother and a Nigerian father of Yoruba descent, Adunni-Ade said she strongly prefers English which is Nigeria’s lingua franca.
The thespian stressed that all the other languages should be put aside, leaving only the English Language for communication.

“Speaking Yoruba is draining, sometimes it hurts my nerves. The first language that we know in Nigeria is English. Let’s put all the other languages aside,” she stated.
However, Adunni-Ade expressed gratitude to her father for bringing her to Nigeria to learn the Nigerian culture.
