Dominic Solanke is weighing up an offer from Crystal Palace to move to Selhurst Park on loan and will make a decision in the next 12 hours.
The England Under-21 international has not played a minute in any competition for Liverpool this season and Jurgen Klopp admitted recently that he had sympathy for Solanke’s situation.
The striker scored four goals in two matches against Italy and Denmark in November for his country but he could not get anywhere his club team.
Palace are ready to give Solanke a platform for the remainder of the campaign to get the football he needs – the FA are anxious about his development ahead of next summer’s European Championship in Italy and San Marino.
There are, however, other options elsewhere. Huddersfield are keen to take Solanke on loan as they look to remain in the Premier League, while Brighton are also eager to land the 21-year-old.
Brighton’s offer, though, would be a permanent deal but it remains to be seen whether Solanke would be willing to cut short his career at Anfield after just 18 months.
He is currently sidelined with a muscle problem and was not in Klopp’s plans for the visit of Arsenal.
