The Senate on Thursday summoned the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Godwin Emefiele, over the continuos devaluation of the Naira.
As at Thursday morning, the Naira exchanged at N1 to $305.
At plenary on Thursday, the Senate expressed concern over the development.
This came from a Point of Order raised by the Senate Leader, Ali Ndume, over the continuos devaluation of the Naira.
Ndume said the purchasing power of Nigerians was being eroded gradually.
