Members of the Indigenous People of Biafra in their hundreds on Thursday clashed with security operatives at the premises of the Federal High Court in Abuja.
This followed attempts by the IPOB members to take the pictures of their leader, Nnamdi Kanu, who is standing trial on allegations of terrorism.
The suit is being heard by Justice Binta Nyako.
Chanting pro-Biafra songs and surging towards Kanu, who was being shielded into a waiting prison van after his bail request was refused by Nyako, the IPOB members pushed through the locked gates of the court.
In the ensuing confusion, Kanu and his co-defendants were whisked away amid tight security to the Medium Kuje Prison in Abuja.
