The Enugu State Police Command has assured residents of the state of a hitch-free Sallah celebration.
The command’s spokesman, SP Ebere Amaraizu, in a statement on Friday in Enugu assured members of the public of their safety and security as they go about the celebration.
Amaraizu noted that the command was working with other security agencies and stakeholders to ensure security across the state.
He said: “Members of the public are enjoined to go about their celebration in the state without fear and to be law abiding.
“They should not allow their emotions to cause commotion at any given time.
“They should report to the nearest police station or patrol pin down point any threat to security and safety in their environment.
