Photos as Shagari’s body leaves National Hospital for burial in Sokoto

The remains of Nigeria’s Second Republic President, Alhaji Shehu Usman Shagari, have left the National Hospital in Abuja for his hometown in Shagari, Sokoto State for interment.

Shagari died on Friday at the National Hospital in Abuja.

One of his sons, Aminu, who spoke with newsmen on Saturday at the hospital, led the team that came for Shagari’s remains.
