The Rivers State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party has expressed its gratitude to President Goodluck Jonathan for appointing one of its own, Dr. Tammy Danagogo, as Minister of Sports.
Commending President Jonathan for his foresight, the state Chairman of the Party, Bro Felix Obuah, Danagogo has an enviable pedigree of quality leadership.
The party said this will, no doubt, take the all important Sports Ministry to greater heights.
The state PDP boss said Dr. Danagogo’s appointment is a further proof that President Jonathan is focused and not a man that can be easily deceived.
He lauded President Jonathan’s insistence on quality personnel to man the various agencies of government.
Obuah also congratulated Danagogo on his successful screening and inauguration, wishing him a brilliant performance in his new office.
He pledged the unalloyed support of the party and the entire people of Rivers State to Jonathan and the Minister.
Praying for God’s guidance and protection upon the life of the new Minister, Obuah advised him to be steadfast in his trust in God, who is the owner and giver of all things, including power and life.
“In all, we give all the glory to God and believe He will never desert those who depend on Him faithfully and will surely not fail us,” he said.
