Armed men, believed to be Fulanis, on Friday invaded Daudu, a village in Benue State, sources have told The Eagle Online.
The invasion led to pandemonium as the villagers fled in different directions, it was learnt.
Daudu town is one of the areas used as refugee camp for Internally Displaced Persons from Nasarawa and Benue States.
The Eagle Online learnt that motorists have abandoned Makurdi-Jos Road owing to heavy gun battle.
It was learnt that the youths of Daudu have engaged the gunmen in gun battle.
