A former Governor of Ogun State, Otunba Gbenga Daniel, has moved his consultation for his bid to become the National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party to the South South.
Daniel, regarded as a strong contender for the position, had before now been to some other zones of the country, including the North Central, where he met with two former Military Heads of State, Generals Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida and Abdulsalami Abubakar.
On Saturday, Daniel met with the Governor of Bayelsa State, Seriake Dickson.
Though details of the meeting were still sketchy as at press time, Daniel was said to have won the confidence of Dickson for the top job of the PDP.
It was gathered that Daniel and his consultation train will move to other parts of the South South from Sunday.
