Former Super Eagles skipper, Sunday Oliseh, has stated that the Super Eagles are good enough to cross the hurdles in their quest to qualify for the Brazil 2014 World Cup.
Reacting to the Stephen Keshi-led Eagles hard earned victory over their Harambee Stars counterparts in Nairobi, the former Borusia Dortmund midfielder believes the team showed class as African Champions against the Kenyans.
His words: “Our Super Eagles are now looking good to march on. I believe the victory in Kenyans is a nice summer start for us after all.”
Oliseh, who captained Nigeria to the France ’98 World Cup, however, advised the team not to lose their head as Nigeria enters the crucial stages of the Brazil 2014 qualifier.
He said: “The victory over Kenya was a good one and it has placed us on a solid pedestal to qualify for the World fiesta but I still feel that other crucial games await the Super Eagles in the series. So, Keshi and his boys must remain focused ahead of the remaining group games and the knock out stage.”
