Nigeria’s Peter Osaze Odemwingie is on the verge on joining Queens Park Rangers from West Brom, after failing to secure a move in January.
The Nigerian controversially made his way to Loftus Road to complete the deal with Rangers, before West Brom had even given him permission to do so and at the end he was forced to stay with the Baggies as the club’s couldn’t agree a fee.
Osaze, disciplined by the club for his behaviour, remains unpopular with the fans at the Hawthorns, prompting rumours that his long-term future lies elsewhere.
Meanwhile, it was gathered that QPR owner, Tony Fernandes, is still interested in bringing the Nigerian to the Loftus Road despite their relegation from the EPL to the lower league.
