The presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, has defeated the Governor of Anambra State, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, who is a member of the All Progressive Grand Alliance at the Polling Unit at the Anambra State Government House.
According to available information, Obi won the presidential poll at the Polling Unit identified as 017, Agụ Awka Ward.
While Obi polled 61 votes, the presidential candidate of APGA, Professor Peter Umeadi, for who Soludo declared support before the pools, scored zero.
The Peoples Democratic Party also got two votes, while the All Progressives Congress had none at the polling unit.
For the Senate, the senatorial candidate of the LP, Chief Victor Umeh, scored 49 votes; Dozie Nwankwo of APGA, 8; Uche Ekwunife of the PDP 5; and APC 1.
For the House of Representatives, the LP candidate, Lilian Orogbu, had 51 votes; APGA 7; PDP 4; APC 0.
