Former President Olusegun Obasanjo and Governor of Lagos State, Babatunde Raji Fashola, are set for a showdown over the impounding of a vehicle that belongs to the former president.
The vehicle, which belongs to Obasanjo Farms Nigeria, was impounded last week by officials of the Lagos State Traffic Management Agency.
In retaliation, 10 vehicles in the fleet of the Lagos State supervised Bus Rapid Transit have been seized by people believed to be acting on behalf of the ex-general.
The BRT buses are parked in the premises of Obasanjo Farms Nigeria.
Fashola was said to have spurned Obasanjo’s plea for the release of his farm vehicle that was impounded.
