NPFL: MFM in Elephants’ habitat

Another big game awaits Nigeria Professional Football League newcomers, Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries Football Club of Lagos, in Match Day 36 clash against Enyimba International Football Club of Aba on Sunday at the Yakubu Gowon Stadium, Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
The Lagos-based team is placed 15th on the log with 41 points while the Peoples Elephants occupy the 7th position on the NPFL table with 49 points.
MFM FC have scored 34 goals and conceded 37, while the host on the other hand have netted 33 goals and conceded 31.
This tie will be the second NPFL meeting between both teams.
The first leg, played at the Agege Stadium, Lagos on Match Day 16, ended goalless.
The two sides have also had three friendly games between that ended in barren draws.
For the second time running, Folarin Abayomi and Egbe Ospino maintained their shirts in coach Fidelis Ilechukwu match day squad. Either of the two goalkeepers will be in action when they face the star-studded Enyimba side who have failed to win their last two league matches.
MFM FC’s assistant captain, Opara Austine, is expected to lead the four-man defence against Mfon Udoh, Joseph Osadaiye and Musa Najare of the Aba Millionaires.
