No separation in Rivers – First Lady

The First Lady, Dame Patience Jonathan, on Saturday in Port Harcourt called on Rivers State citizens to be peaceful in all their endeavours.
Jonathan made the call at the wedding ceremony of Rhoda Sika and Evans Bipialaka.
She said: "There’s no separation in Rivers.
"All of us will work together to make sure the state remains peaceful and move forward.
"It will return to the model city we once knew as the garden city so that we can leave a legacy for our children."
The President’s wife urged everyone at the ceremony to make peace the watchword in everything they do.
She said: "I will like to use this occasion to talk about peace.
"Peace is very important.
"We must maintain peace at all time.
"May peace reign in our state, in the South South, in the region and in our beloved country."
Earlier at the Church ceremony, Ven. Abbey Kalio charged the couple to care for one another.
Kalio said: "Be the eyes, ears, nose, mouth and brain of the family.
"Care for your relatives and move forward as one."
The Deputy Governor of Rivers State, Tele Nkuru; former Rivers State Governors, Peter Odili and Celestine Omehia, were among dignitaries at the ceremony.
