A former Governor of Anambra State and senator representing Anambra Central Senatorial District, Senator Chris N. Ngige, has commiserated with the families of the Mbus and Alukos of Ekiti and Cross River States over the demise of Professor Samuel Aluko and Ambassador Matthew Mbu.
In a statement, Ngige, on behalf of the Ngige clan of Alor in Idemili South Local Government Area of Anambra State, described the late Mbu as a precocious and astute politician and lawyer who distinguished himself as a man of many parts.
He also described him as a man who loved his country, having served as a minister and diplomat.
In the same light, the Ngige family said that the late Aluko lived a good life and was not afraid to make radical and controversial contributions to decision making process of the country.
