Chancellor Angela Merkel plans to “work closely” with incoming US President, Donald Trump, despite his attack on her handling of the German refugee crisis, her spokesman, Steffen Seibert, said.
Merkel had read Trump’s newspaper interview with interest, says Seibert, noting that the president-elect had his made views clearly.
