The Governor of Katsina State, Aminu Bello Masari, on Thursday inspected the some of the road projects awarded by the Katsina State Government.
One of the projects visited was the 24km Tama-Bindawa-Charanchi Road.
The ongoing project, which starts from Charanchi town (along Katsina-Kano Road), passes through Bindawa town and terminates at Tama, where it connects with Kankia-Ingawa Road.
The 24km road project consists of pothole patching, provision of 1.5m wide single coat surface dressed shoulders, provision of second coat surface dressing on the carriageway and the construction of bridges and culverts of various sizes along the road.
The project is being handled by M/S Mother Cat Limited at a cost of N1,472,700,567.87.
The contractor has achieved 52 per cent completion within 25 per cent of the proposed completion period.
