The Lagos State Police Command on Friday provided telephone numbers through which residents of the state could reach it in case of emergency.
The Command said with the fasting period nearing an end, it had become imperative to urge residents of the state to be security conscious.
The statement, signed by the spokesman of the Command, Ken Nwosu, said a “very proactive and responsive security template to ensure that the celebrations are hitch-free” had been put in place.
The statement provided the following telephone numbers for use by the public: 08063299264, 08127155071, 08079279349, 08065154338, 08127155150, 07035068242 and 08060357795.
It also provided the toll free lines of 767 and 112.
The statement added: “The task of securing Lagos is a collective responsibility let us all join hands with the police to achieve it.”
