The Kwara State chapter of the All Progressives Congress, APC on Tuesday lifted the one-year suspension placed on a former lawmaker, Senator Mohammed Ahmed, and five other members of its party in Baruten Local Government Area of the state.
In a statement issued on Wednesday by the state Publicity Secretary of the party, Alhaji Sulyman Buhari, the APC said: “Having reviewed the sanctions, the suspensions are lifted forthwith and the affected members are pardoned.”
The party also pardoned Samari Abdullahi, Mohammed Suno Gofe, Abubakar Abdullahi Gunu, Hon. Adamu Sabi Ibrahim and Aliu kora Sabi.
The affected members were earlier suspended for anti-party activities following recommendations by a panel of enquiry set up by the APC in Kwara State to probe allegations of anti-party activities.
