The Delta State Commissioner of Police, Olufemi Abaniwonda, has charged Divisional Police Officers (DPOs) in the State to be on alert to curb the menace of kidnapping, armed robbery, and other related crimes.
According to the CP, all DPOs must ensure that their area of responsibility is policed adequately, urging them to embrace community-based policing.
He also directed that visibility patrol and a proactive approach to policing is what all DPOS must adopt under his leadership.

It was gathered that the Command had again recorded another breakthrough in the fight against crimes and criminality.
