Eminent businessman and former Governor of Abia State, Dr. Orji Kalu, has congratulated the Olubadan of Ibadanland in Oyo State, Oba Samuel Odulana, on his attainment of 100 years of age.
Kalu, in a statement signed by his Special Adviser, Prince Kunle Oyewumi, described Oba Odulana as one of the very few monarchs that command respect in the country.
He said the Olubadan achieved this by jealously guarding the respect his revered throne deserves.
He said the Olubadan deserves commendation for this with his refusal to engage in partisan politics that could compromise his integrity and ability to speak up in the face of injustice and wrongs.
Kalu wished Oba Odulana many more years and good health in the upholding of the tradition of his people and provision of quality leadership and advice not just for his people but also to those in authority.
