The remains of late veteran actor, Justus Esiri, was laid to rest on Friday in his country home, Abraka, Delta State.
The late theatre icon’s journey home began with a night of tribute organized by the Actors Guild Of Nigeria in Lagos State.
It was later followed with a service of songs and general mass on Tuesday and Wednesday at St. Jude’s Catholic Church, Mafoluku, Lagos State.
His body was transported to Abraka, Delta State for the final burial.
On Friday morning, a commendation mass/lying-in-state was held at the Polo Turf in Abraka, Delta State, before his body was moved to his residence in Abraka for interment and entertainment of guests.
Esiri, popularly known as The Village Headmaster, died on February 19, following complications from diabetes.
