Prof. Kayode Jegede, a former Director-General of the Nigerian Law School, died on Wednesday at the National Hospital in Abuja.
Dr. Tayo Haastrup, the Head of Management Information Service of the hospital, who confirmed this to the News Agency of Nigeria in Abuja, said Jegede’s corpse was still lying at the hospital’s mortuary.
Jegede, who was the fifth head of the school, ran the institution as its first Director-General for nine years and retired on September 20, 2004.
