One of the female delegates to the ongoing national conference, Ezenwa Ifeanyinwa, fainted on Wednesday.
The delegate, who is representing market women association, had just taken her lunch and was returning to the Chamber for the evening plenary when she suddenly slumped.
The story could have been different but for the vigilance of the security agents around.
The security agents included those operatives of the Department of State Service and the National Security and Civil Defence Corps.
Ifeanyinwa was immediately rushed into a nearby room by the security operatives, who brought her back to the lobby when a doctor arrived.
While waiting for the doctor, another female delegate prayed for her quick recovery.
Interestingly, most of the delegates did not know what happened as they had returned to the chamber for the afternoon session.
