Nigerian international, Alex Iwobi, has been nominated for Arsenal Player of the Month award for September.
Iwobi, who won the Man of the Match plague in Arsenal’s 3-0 bashing of London rivals, Chelsea, at the weekend, will vie for the gong alongside Alex Sanchez, Mesut Ozil, Theo Walcott, Francis Coquelin and Laurent Koscienly.
The young lad has featured in four matches for the Gunners so far in September, including the Champions League tie with PSG, and was only rested for the trip to Nottingham Forest in the League Cup.
Meanwhile, Sanchez caught the eye with goals against Paris Saint-Germain and Chelsea, as well as a brace in the 4-1 win at Hull.
Walcott, Coquelin and Koscielny were also top performer in September.
