The controversial television star, Denrele Edun, has cleared the air of confusion on his “woman” personality.
Derenle, who aired his views on his social media page, spoke on the speculations that he was striving to look like a woman.
Denrele said that he was comfortable with his style of life than what people would want him to be.
“If I was trying to be a lady, I am deceiving my conscience and living a lie. I am just comfortable with the person I am.
“I am comfortable with my identity I have built over the years. I am comfortable with the brand that is selling my market.
“I was a bit confused about my identity while growing up. Every day, people would ask me if I was a girl or a boy.
“In fact, people complain about my hair and my dressing. Let me shock you, I just allowed my hair to grow, and I have never retouched my hair. My life style is just my own unique personality.
“Even at the university, most time, I open my chest and tell them I will open my trouser too if they can open theirs.
“We will just end up laughing about it. I like who I am, I can’t give up Denrele for anything, “ he said.
Denrele started his television career as an actor at 11 when he featured as a presenter/producer on Kiddies vision 101 on NTA Network.
As an undergraduate at the University of Lagos, he went into modeling and after graduation; he joined Sound City as a TV presenter.
Denrele studied English Education at the University of Lagos.
