Former Military President of Nigeria, General Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida, popularly known as IBB, on Tuesday broke speculations over the state of his health, saying he will be back to the country very soon.
Babangida said he is very okay.
General Babangida, who spoke with newsmen over the telephone at the residence of the Niger State Governor, Dr. Muazu Babangia Aliyu, in Tunga, Minna, when General Abdulsalami Abubakar paid the governor a Sallah homage, said: “I will be back very soon.”
Babangida, who spoke from Germany through General Abubakar’s mobile telephone, said: “I miss all of you.
“I wish you all Barka de Sallah.
“I am better now and I will be back in a few days time.
“I thank Nigerians for their prayers and well wishes.
“Insha Allah, I will be back to Nigeria very soon.”
It should be recalled that the former leader was hospitalised last month in a German hospital.
