Rep. Mulikat Akande-Adeola, the Majority Leader of the House of Representatives, on Friday in Ogbomoso, Oyo State, declared to seek re-election as the representative of Ogbomoso South/Ogbomoso North/Oriire Federal Constituency.
Akande-Adeola of the Peoples Democratic Party, reeled out her achievements in the House and also sought support for the re-election of President Goodluck Jonathan at the event.
She said: “My records of achievements are there for all to see and I am pleading with you that this election should not be about the person.
“It should be about issues, concrete facts and development for most and not for a few.
“I want to assure you as your representative that all I do and will continue to do is to focus on substance and issues.”
According to Akande-Adeola, the Jonathan administration has transformed the nation in all sectors and the President deserved to be re-elected for continued transformation of the nation.
