Gunmen on Monday shot and killed Lawrence Agaie, the Saf Ron-Kuelere and paramount ruler of Bokkos in Plateau State.
Also killed were the traditional ruler’s police orderly, Inspector Sunday Wuyah; his wife; as well as his son, Shagari.
The News Agency of Nigeria gathered from a family source that the monarch was returning to Bokkos after visiting his farm in Sha District when he was attacked.

Iweha added that the corpses had been deposited at an undisclosed hospital in Jos.
He also said a woman who was shot, but did not die, had been taken to a hospital in Bokkos.
